For this exact reason, CAN has developed and offered the Interview Skill Building workshop for the past 3 years to individuals looking to secure employment in the Red Deer & Central Alberta area.
This one day workshop is efficiently designed to allow attendees the opportunity to be exposed to all major techniques and trends in employment interviewing including:
- Career Synopsis Preparation
- Job Synopsis Preparation
- "T" Account Preparation
- Common Interview Questions
- Company / Organizational Research
- Pre-Interview Checklists
- Post-Interview Evaluation
- Interview Dress Etiquette and Presentation Tips
- Follow-up, Negotiation and Job Acceptance
In addition to the theoretical instruction, CAN also offers hands-on mock interview sessions, allowing attendees to experience the full interview experience. Within these mock interviews, attendees are provided with invaluable opportunities to utilize newly acquired techniques within a comfortable, non-threatening setting as well as gaining constructive professional feedback and advice.
