For over twelve years, Career Assistance Network Ltd., has developed a reputation within the Central Alberta area as the “little agency that CAN”. We endeavor to ensure that all people who seek our help receive it with due respect, dignity and a commitment towards assisting them to reach their career objectives. The agency has demonstrated creativity and a unique ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing world of work, evolving from a one person office assisting single mothers re-entering the workforce to a full-scale service provider accommodating on an annual basis over 15,000 people of all ages, social, economic and cultural backgrounds and who present with a wide variety of disabilities and / or barriers to employment.
Additionally, CAN has dramitically expanded it focus and scope to offer servcies and supports to not only Workers but also Employers and Providers. As demonstrated by our ongoing planning and facilitation of Job Fairs or partnerships with other key Providers like Academic Express, CAN has consistently offered unique and mutually benefitcial services to that have benefited all parties, not just Workers, in the Central Alberta area.
